About Fibromyalgia, Part 3
2. How to Practice Cold and Hot Water Therapy
When you first get into 14-18°C (57-64°F) water, it's "Ahhh, it's so cold~!!! I can't do it~ I'm getting out~~~!!!"
Almost all patients react this way the first time they enter the cold water.

However~~ once you understand the reason why you must immerse your body in this cold water, you'll find your sane mind accepting that you have no choice but to endure it.
First, sit down in the cold water.
Immerse yourself up to your neck and sit still. At first, your body will shiver. Gradually, you will adapt.
Stay like that for 25 minutes.
Then, move to a hot tub for 5 minutes. After that, go back to the cold tub for 1 minute, then back to the hot tub for 1 minute. Repeat this cycle four times each.
Finally, finish with 1 minute in the cold tub.
You will feel your body refreshed. You'll experience a sensation of something crawling on your skin and a feeling of blood and water surging and circulating wildly inside your body.
A man in his mid-50s, who was an executive at a well-known broadcasting company, was making desperate efforts to treat his liver cancer when he read a book by Kang Soon-nam and visited the "K" training center. However, he hesitated and ended up leaving. In the car on his way back, a friend strongly recommended he at least try the cold and hot water therapy. After much deliberation, he went to a local public bathhouse and tried it as instructed...
"I wasn't sure about the other things, but my friend insisted I just try the 25-minute cold bath once. I thought about it for days before finally trying it at a local bathhouse. And what happened next was so shocking I nearly fainted. Without realizing it, I urinated, little by little, twenty-six times! Just from one cold bath session~! To be honest, at that time, with my liver cancer, I was suffering from ascites (fluid buildup in the abdomen) and urinating was extremely difficult. But after doing what my friend said~~~ Now, having had that experience, I've dropped everything to come running back here."
He became one of the most diligent students at the training center. Previously, he would get so out of breath that even driving was difficult, but as the ascites drained, driving became easier. His fatigue disappeared, and even after finishing his training and returning home, he regained his health through efforts such as consuming Jukyeom (bamboo salt), eating brown and five-grain rice, and finding satisfaction in tending to his vegetable garden.
People tend to think the 25-minute cold bath is no big deal, but that's absolutely not true.
This 25-minute cold and hot water therapy is a highly effective natural health method for expelling foreign substances from our bodies.
3. Consuming Jukyeom (Bamboo Salt)
Jukyeom was originally developed for the first time in the world in 1917 by Insan Kim Il-hun.
The finest ingredients were considered to be king bamboo from Damyang aged over three years and salt from Yeongpyeongdo Island. The yellow clay used to seal the bamboo was gathered from deep within the mountains, and the firewood consisted of domestic pine, pine resin, and gwansol (resin-rich pinewood), all burned in a large iron drum he designed himself.

With the help of his grandfather, Kim Myeon-seop, the first Jukyeom was introduced to the world that year, when Insan, known in his family as Un-ryong, was merely 9 years old.
For the first roast, salt is packed into a bamboo stalk, sealed with a yellow clay cap, and placed in a kiln to be fired with pine wood.
As the bamboo burns, its essence (jukryeok) and the trace medicinal properties of the yellow clay are absorbed into the salt.
When the fire dies down, a white pillar of salt remains. After it cools, the bamboo ash is brushed off, and the salt pillar is pulverized in a mortar.
It is then packed into a new bamboo stalk, sealed with yellow clay, and fired again with pine wood.
This process is repeated up to 8 times, with the bamboo essence and clay components being thoroughly infused into the salt.
For the 9th roast, the salt is melted at a high temperature in an iron cauldron. Using pine wood, pine resin, and gwansol to achieve the highest possible temperature, the salt melts into a glowing red liquid. As it cools, it transforms into radiant, amethyst-like crystals.

This is what a young Insan told his grandfather, Kim Myeon-seop, about this purple bamboo salt (Jajukyeom):
"The waters around Yeongpyeongdo on our country's West Sea have a high concentration of these 'crystal nuclei,' containing limitless medicinal properties not found anywhere else in the world. The 'sweet dew' that flows from Cheonji Lake on Baekdu Mountain, through the Korean peninsula, and gathers in the West Sea, combines with the ocean's 'crystal nuclei' to become the ultimate 'life-saving nucleus.' In the coming age of strange diseases, this life-saving nucleus will save countless lives. Jukyeom is the extraction of this life-saving nucleus from the sea. It is a mysterious, divine medicine that can cure numerous incurable diseases."
Completing all 9 roasts takes approximately 25 days.
This 9-times-roasted Jukyeom is a medicinal-grade salt used for healing.
"Lifestyle Jukyeom," which is roasted 1 to 3 times, is commercially available and used for seasoning food.
During its production, Jukyeom releases a potent energy that can cause nearby trees to wither and die. For this reason, it cannot be mass-produced.
For those who acknowledge they are suffering from a chronic or rare disease, it is recommended to consume at least 10g of 9-times-roasted Jajukyeom (purple bamboo salt) daily.
